Oaklee and I tried to make Father's Day special. She bought Daddy a knife and had it engraved, "Daddy's Little Girl Love, Oaklee 2010" and a bib that said, "My Dad is hotter than your dad!"

Oaklee- "What you looking at?" (In best mafia boss accent. As you can see she is throwing her baby gang signs up also!)We tried the bunny ears, again!
So, we still didn't get that 'awww how cute' shot but we did get one THE funniest shots ever. Trent and I both have this picture on our phone. When we are having a bad day, we look at the picture and laugh. You have it!

I tried taking pictures with her bunny ears today. It didn't go as planned but I still got a cute shot. I ofcourse think she is THE cutest bunny ever!

Happy Easter!
The Easter Bunny was very good to Oaklee! She got a basket at home, at Maw'Maw Sharon's & Paw'Paw Rollie's, Pe'Pe & Ted's and Poppa & Tutu's. Can you believe the Easter Bunny knows where Tiffany's is? In her basket at Pe'Pe & Paw'Paw Ted's she got a Tiffany rattle. Can we say spoiled much?

I bought the basket at Hobby Lobby and Pe'Pe made the lining. I LOVE how it turned out!

Read my shirt...I'm 1 month old today!
I can't believe my baby is already a month old. I'm sure I will say that every month, but it feels like it was a few days ago I was holding her in my arms for the first time. I still cry when I think about it. I wonder if that will ever go away.

We had to work a wedding at Hemingbough so why not take our daily picture there! We used one of Daddy's tshirts to 'wrap' her. She wasn't that happy about being swaddled in the middle of the day BUT I'm so glad we bounced her to happiness! I love these pictures!

Poppa killed his first turkey! He waited to clean it until he got home. Oaklee wore her camo that Poppa bought her, while mom was in the hospital before she was born! 2 of his favorite things...Big Tom Down and Oaklee.

Oaklee's 1st Easter!
Ofcourse, we had to take a picture with the Easter Bunny! Bass Pro had the cheapst price (free) and the shortest line! Tutu had to sit behind the bench and hold her. If you look real close you can see parts of her. I think Oaklee looked like a baby doll on the bench!

Another walk...She loves to sleep with her hands up. Daddy said he hopes she's not practicing 'putting her hands up.' Aunt Mel said Hazen did calf tying hands...So, Oaklee is practicing her goat tying hands! Hopefully!

We were tired of sitting inside so we decided to take a walk! Oaklee LOVED being in her stroller. We only made a lap but it felt so good to get fresh air.

I think this is our favorite place...I love her sleeping on me and she loves sleeping on me. And look at the pretty tan complexion. Too bad it was just jaundice! I wish my baby wouldn't be lily white, but I don't think she has a choice!

Today was Oaklee's due date!
I tried setting this shot up for at least a week. She would never cooperate. Finally, I was home by myself and I decided to try it. Within minutes I had this shot. Trent came in and was shocked!

We spent St. Patrick's day visiting with Oaklee's great-great-grandma, Donis. The difference in their skin tells a story of the past, present and our future. I wish we could write down all of her experiences and wisdoms. We are so blessed to still have Maw'Maw around. My heart smiled when they looked at each other!

Daddy sleeping with his 2 children. Dallie is very protective of his little sister. Everywhere she is, he wants to be. Is she makes a peep, he comes to get us.

The inlaws get together with their sister, brother-in-law, neice, brother and sister-in-law every Sunday. Oaklee made her first appearance! Ofcourse everyone thought she was BEAUTIFUL! I couldn't agree more.
